Ikea homes in on the Scots housing market

IKEA, the Swedish flat-pack furniture group, is to start building timber-frame kit homes across Britain to help tackle the shortage of affordable housing.

Scotland will be one of the first regions to see the BoKlok - pronounced BooKlook) homes spring up, with Glasgow earmarked for building behind launch area Gateshead, on Tyneside.

Spring Flood Victims Still In Need

A state emergency management committee says hundreds are still in need seven months after the floods of last mother's day weekend. Some lawmakers are now calling on the state to step in with funding. In the meantime, a fundraiser is set for next week to helps defray estimated needs of about 2 million dollars.

Group Lapeyre, a Subsidiary of Group Saint Gobain, Selects Aruba Networks' Mobile Edge for Industrial Sites

Aruba Networks, the Mobile Edge Company, today announced that Group Lapeyre, a leading manufacturer and distributor of home improvement products in Europe, and a subsidiary of Group Saint Gobain, is expanding its deployment of Aruba's Mobile Edge architecture. While Group Lapeyre has had Aruba's mobility solutions deployed at its headquarters since 2004, the company is now extending this network to the Group's industrial sites, including several factories, warehouses and shipping docks.
